We want to thank all our fiends and fellow art lovers who accompanied us in the Palace Theater on Friday, September 14th.
We received a great support from our sponsors Why Not Silvia’s Beauty Salon, Maya Restaurant, Brasitas Restaurant, Casa Villa Restaurant, The Greater Stamford Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, El Sol News and Stop & Shop. Likewise, we thank all the personnel at Stamford Center for the Arts for their hospitality during the curating process of our exhibit. And on a very special note, we thank Valerie Cooper from Picture That LLC for reaching out to us and giving us her important vote of trust.
Our evening was introduced by Ms. Beatrice Chodosh on behalf of Ms. Eva Padilla. Both ladies are very strong advocates for social equality, arts and culture in the city of Stamford.
Our evening wouldn’t have been the same without music, therefore, we thank violinist Angie Durrell and her assembly of musicians who delighted us with classical renditions of well known Latin-American music. Singer/song writer Cindy Lozano also made a very strong impression on our audience, who enjoyed her singing ability and stage presence. We also thank Oscar Adrian, a folkloric guitarist and accomplished guitarist who joined us directly from New York and surprised us with his guitar playing.
Following are some very beautiful pictures courtesy of professional photographer Sheldon Adamson who also joined us from New York and has joined our group of artists!
